Does banh chung need to go in the fridge? It wasn't in the fridge at the market, but I'm kind of hesitant to leave it outside because it has meat in it. |

China has accused Vietnam of "gravely violating" its sovereignty in an escalating row over disputed waters in the South China Sea.
Beijing said Vietnam had endangered Chinese sailors' lives and warned it to stop "all invasive activities".
It follows an accusation by Vietnam that a Chinese fishing boat rammed cables from an oil exploration vessel inside its exclusive economic zone.

My scanner is acting up, so I can't post my new year's graphic yet. Until then, you'll have to watch this cat instead.

Hello everyone.
I just recently adopted a child from Vietnam and love to hear news about the country. We spent five weeks there and had an amazing time immersing ourselves in the culture. We will be going back in a year or two to adopt a second child. I was pretty excited to find this community and will enjoy reading back on what I missed.

| » EU's biggest crackdown on Vietnamese illegal migrants |
On Tuesday, 31 alleged traffickers and 66 migrants were arrested in Hungary, France, Germany and the UK - in the fourth and biggest crackdown so far by European police forces on the illegal immigration of Vietnamese into the European Union.
With Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic now all part of the Schengen group of countries, which have no border controls between them, migrants can reach the English Channel before being asked to show documents.
Some enter Schengen countries legally, on short-stay visas. Others cross illegally into Eastern Europe overland from Russia and Ukraine.
